1.1 By clicking on the “Accept” button at the bottom of these Terms and Conditions you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2.1 Merchandise purchased may be returned for a full refund if the below conditions are met:
a. Returns are made within 30 days of receiving the merchandise
b. All merchandise that came with the original package is returned. No refunds will be given until the seller can verify all merchandise has been returned.
c. All merchandise must be returned in the original, unmarked packaging and same condition as it was received in by the purchaser. No refunds will be given until the seller can verify all merchandise has been returned in the same condition as it was shipped out. Please see section 3 if the merchandise received by the purchaser is defective or damaged. If the returned merchandise and/or packaging has been defaced, written on, damaged, or marked in any way, the seller will not accept the return. The merchandise will then be returned to the buyer, and the buyer shall incur all shipping costs.
d. The buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs in the return of the merchandise.
3.1 Any merchandise that arrives to the buyer that is defective will be replaced free of charge.
3.2 Any merchandise that is defective must be reported to CollegeComplements.com within two days of receiving the merchandise. Any defective goods not reported within this time frame will not be covered under the warranty.
3.3 CollegeComplements.com must receive the defective merchandise before a replacement is shipped. CollegeComplements.com will be responsible for all shipping necessary in replacing defective products.
3.4 It is the responsibility of the shipping company to compensate the buyer if any merchandise arrives to the buyer damaged or broken. It is the buyer’s responsibility to contact the shipping company direct in the case of damaged or broken goods.
3.5 The Eureka vacuum cleaner carries a one year warranty. If the product shall become defective during this warranty period, the buyer shall contact Eureka directly to receive a new product or have it repaired.
3.6 All Hamilton Beach products carry a one year warranty. If these products should become defective during this warranty period, the buyer shall contact Hamilton Beach directly to receive a new product or have it repaired.
3.7 All Proctor-Silex products carry a 180 day warranty. If these products should become defective during this warranty period, the buyer shall contact Proctor-Silex directly to receive a new product or have it repaired.
4. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
4.1 All products are subject to availability from the manufacturer. If the manufacturer suddenly cancels a certain product, then we reserve the right to substitute that product with another product of equal value and quality.
4.2 All products are also subject to our inventory. If a product is on order or is backordered from the manufacturer, then we reserve the right to ship the base package as is, and ship the backordered product separately, once merchandise is received.
4.3 CollegeComplements.com is not responsible for delays in shipping out packages due to situations beyond our control, such as acts of God, or terrorism.
5.1 Delivery dates quoted are estimates. CollegeComplements.com is not responsible for any delivery times that are longer than those quoted, and we are not responsible for any shipping delays caused by the shipping company.
5.2 Once the package leaves our warehouse we are not responsible for the package and/or its content.
5.3 All orders will leave our warehouse 1 – 3 business days from the time of purchase.
5.4 If the buyer provides an incorrect shipping address, additional shipping charges will apply to ship to the correct address.
6.1 We reserve the right to alter these Terms and Conditions from time to time and make the new version available on our website.
6.3 In the event a dispute arises between the seller (CollegeComplements.com) and the buyer, which results in arbitration or litigation, and the claim has been declared in favor of the seller, the buyer shall reimburse the seller all mediation expenses incurred to resolve the dispute.
6.4 All fees associated with a declined credit card, is the buyer’s responsibility.
